Alternative Advent Calendar #17
Well look what my mum made for me! She dropped it off when I was at work, which when arrived home caused some confusion seeing it hung up I thought I'd got the wrong house and had to take a look around me to check I wasn't about to attempt a break in to one of the neighbours houses.
So here I am, day one of my holiday and the social whirlwind that is this week is about to kick off. This afternoon: DVDs and cider with my brother, tomorrow: drinks with ex-Habitat colleague Bekah, Monday: lunch with Ruthie, Tuesday: lunch and late night shopping with Mum, Wednesday: lunch with ex-International Office colleague followed by dinner with Stoat, Thursday: lunch and lego with friend from work, then Friday: lunch with a friend followed by Birthday drinks for lovely Birthday girl CJ. Can't wait to see each and everyone of ya.

Alternative Advent Calendar #7
Thought you might be a little bored of Christmas tree related posts, so here is another photo taken by my brother using a long exposure and a torch. He's much better at photography than I am, he takes an interest in the mechanics and processes whereas I am much more about the point, shoot and hope it looks vaguely respectable. Hoping to get a 50mm fixed lens after Christmas to improve the quality of my photos currently I just have the standard lens that comes with the camera and as good as it is it's quite limiting.
In other news, getting quite excited about the fast approaching holidays (only 7 working days to go!) already the week before Christmas is booking up; lunch with the lovely Ruthie, late night shopping at the hippiest place on earth (Totnes) with my mum and Wagamama followed by playing with Lego (no I'm 3 not 30 if you're asking).

Yes actually, I will throw my toys out of the pram, and no I haven't found my shorts yet.
This week I have mostly been grumpy. Which is wrong so near to getting married, but... the house is a mess, I veg pealed off a chunk of my nail that had just been manicured, we haven't sorted the music for the wedding, we haven't ordered the alcohol, I have to clean said messy house from top to bottom in preparation of impending relative invasion, and (!) I can't find my god damn shorts. The house has eaten them and it's really annoying me. So imagine me with the following look on my face:
It's mostly my fault the house is messy, I have unfinished craft projects all over the house:
and the allotment is taking up a lot of our time, with it being so dry my lovely plants are thirsty, the bounty is good though:
and to be fair I have finished the children's colouring-in books:
and Sam has finished the blackberry vodka, which is so so tasty, and therefore very dangerous!
