Last year I posted an alternative advent calendar which I really enjoyed, it was a challenge posting everyday but a good challenge so here we go again, I hope you come along for the ride!

Gosh what have the office elves been up to?  Adding a touch of Christmas bling to the office that's what!  My photos of the overall effect didn't show off our work in all it's splendour so here are a couple of highlights and I'll see if I can get some better shots at some other point.  Wilkinsons came up trumps this year for tinsel and the Christmas tree garland above, Atticus the office pot plant has had a mini tinsel makeover but I do feel I should make a bit more of an effort with him, in fact I'm off to do that now.....

Alternative Advent Calendar #3

I stopped attempting tasteful Christmases last year and embraced full on tat in a spectacular fashion, and do you know what?  The house looks ace!  Colourful, Christmasy and a happy place to be so this year I am adding to my collection of glittery Christmas joy with the above tinsel Christmas tree.  It's about two foot high and came from last Sunday's car boot sale, only £2 and that money went to charity, win win!  But just look at the pretty colours, catface is fascinated by it and spends a high proportion of her day staring at it, and who can blame her?
